PARANGTRITIS BEACH

Parangtritis has long been famous, not only as a beach resort where sand-dunes, sandy beach and rocky cliffs meet,
but it is also a historical place which closely related to the mysterious legend of the Queen of the South Ocean " Kanjeng Ratu Kidul ", who together with her confident, the feared Nyai Loro Kidul, the ever youthful and beautiful queen, reign over sea nymphs and spirits. Everyone is delighted to visit not because of its beautiful scenery but being challenged to prove a myth of Nyai Loro Kidul and its kingdom under the ocean. In a fact, many of visitors ware lost swallowed by waves.

The Legend tells that Kanjeng Ratu Kidul was married to one of the Mataram King, Panembahan Senopati whom she visited and communed with on certain occasions. It is said that the name Parangtritis expresses a natural phenomenon. From the wall of one of the hills drops off water containing calcium continuously dripped down and finally formed a pool with very clear water in it. Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono Vll found and took care of it. The pool is now used as the bathing pool of Parangtritis swimming pool.

KONDANG MERAK (famous Peacock) BEACH

Kondang Merak beach is a beautiful beach located adjacent to the beach Balekambang. peacock famous beach has a very beautiful scenery and still very natural.

Kondang Merak beach is a natural beach. Wide beach with white sand that is still clean, friendly waves, coastal shady by the trees, and rocks the big things look very sturdy and very beautiful.

The number of eagles flying over the beach, further adds to the charm of the beach. When the journey to get there, we can enjoy the beautiful views. Residents who live on the coast is about 20 family heads, who all worked as a fisherman.

Dreamland Beach Bali

Nyilep Beach

Annually the traditional ceremony Labuhan Mulud (offering ceremony) is held here. Labuhan Mulud is the traditional ceremony that always held in the beach at Malang regency.

Ngliyep beach lies at Kedungsalam village, Donomulyo district, about 62 km a way to the south from Malang. Visit Ngliyep beach and enjoy its wonderful waves. The visitors can swimming, sun banthing, or fishing here.

SENDANG BIRU ( NATURAL BATHS BLUE / BLUE WATER SOURCE ) BEACH

Sendang Biru is one of beach resorts in the southern part of Malang Regency, which free from tumulous waves of Indian Ocean due to the existence of wild life Sempu Island, about 300 meters offshore.

Sempu island has Segoro anakan (small sea / lake)

At the other side of the beach is now utilize 'as Fishing Harbor and Center of Fishes Disembarkation PPI'

where fisherman disembark their catches in which both are under the authority of the Fishery Service and Managed by KUD (Village Cooperation Unit)," Mina Jaya Pondok Dadap".

Officially, the beach of Sendang Biru is managed by the State-owned Forestay Company which has so far provided the beach with inns, guest house, stalls, guard houses, boats, etc.

To reach Sendang Biru, visitor can take an accessible public transportation named "Mikrolet" for Gadang - Turen - Sendang Biru. Sendang Biru is about 70 km away to the south from Malang at Tambakrejo village, Sumbermanjing Wetan district.
